Happy Birthday Saylor

Well here we are, 365 days after Saylor graced us with her presence. What a whirlwind it has been and looking back, I wouldn't change a thing. This child has the most infectious smile, and with it comes an outstanding personality. A true child of God, she has brought so much joy and happiness in my life...make that our life. This past week has been somewhat hard. I've realized how fast a year can go by and how quickly a child grows. As a parent, you know where I'm at. It's such an incredible milestone, yet I'm a bit sad. That little girl who once laid helplessly in my arms night after night now fights my every effort to re-live those moments. Kicking and screaming to explore the world...that's how Saylor rolls. So, to all the people who have been a part of this past year, thank you! We are so blessed to give Saylor the extended family she has... thanks to each of you! To the year of Saylor....SALUD.

FYI...This was Saylor's very first ice cream cone. One of many I'm sure!!

Absent

Dear Blog,

I'm so sorry I have neglected you! Even though you still exist despite my absent nurturing, I realize you still need a little T.L.C every now and then. So I promise to give you just that when I return to Greenville with my bags and boxes unpacked. I have so many great pictures to show you. So if you will hang tight and keep it real, I'll be back as soon as I get my life back together and out of a cardboard reality.

Peace.

Saylor, sand & the salty sea

Work, shmurk. So for the past hour, I have been playing around with iMovie and am obsessed! Its too much fun! So I thought I would be productive and throw some pictures together from Saylor's first visit to the beach! Its been a few months, but they're still fun to look through! Hope you enjoy!!

Never say never....

So, here goes it. The one that said, "I'll never blog" is blogging. The Wordsworth-Poston family blog officially begins today. Here's a brief intro into our world: the good, the bad and the ho-hum.

First off...This is Saylor. Our fabulous daughter that I believe was hand picked for us. I have titled the blog after her (in case it brought on confusion: Saylor Redmon....redsaylor. Get it?)

Anyways, although its too soon to tell where this blogging thing will take us (or actually where my words will take you) I can only hope to visit often, leaving each post with welcoming, informative words and photos for a lasting memory... or at least until the next post. So hang in there and wait patiently. I just might have something interesting to say.

A few random thoughts....No Politics:
As most of you know... I'm not one for divulging my thoughts on politics. Hate politics, in fact. So if you're here to gain insight on the latest political garb, then close this window. Subscribe to The Economist instead. My, or "our" intentions are to provide family updates to those that are curious. For instance, my aunt Debbie sometimes just wants to know what I ate for breakfast, and Mom is always checking in to hear the latest on Saylor and her (Saylor) efforts of running my life. So I thought I could make this convenient for all. Check in. See whats going on. And keep us updated as well. I'll try to post pictures often, some wont make sense (we take too many), but all we can hope for is enjoyment!

The chaos begins....
Ward and I have been busy chasing Saylor around as she takes her first few moves towards independence. She's starting to crawl and I'm terrified. I'm sure we'll have some great stories before too long. That day is coming when I walk in the room and see Saylor trying to ride our dogs like a horse. (we've already noted she's a trouble maker). Oh and Saylor's not the only one on an adventure...Ward started his new job a few weeks ago and has been on the road ever since! (Ward, if you're reading this, come home. We miss you!) We're all so excited and a move to Greenville, Sc is in the near future! Which, by the way, is a city we love. For those who don't know, Ward has a job with Southern Orthopedics selling Medical devices to local doctors. Yea Ward.... so a big congrats to him!!! and Thanks again for all the prayers! And me? Well I'm playing Mom for the moment but about to dive into some work, so stay tuned. I may need your help!

*We love you all and are always up for comments and feedback.

Until next time.....
